"Dislocated shoulder relocated - Job done !!!"

About: Royal Albert Edward Infirmary

At lunchtime 4th July 2014 , I tripped at work and ended up in casualty with a dislocated shoulder. After booking in, whilst in the waiting room, i had to ask one of the nurses for help as i was in unbearable pain. I was quickly seen and taken through to X ray and then a cubicle. After 2 unsuccessful attempts to relocate my shoulder i was taken to Aspull ward to wait to go to theatre later that night. This didn't happen til 930 the next morning due to a young child being admitted with more severe injuries than me. At all times i was informed of what was going on and treated with respect and care. I was finally discharged at 6pm on friday night. I'd like to say a big thank you to all staff involved in my brief stay.
