"Switchboard Staff very unfriendly and unhelpful!"

About: Hertford County Hospital

Have just spent a frustrating time trying to speak to a department for some results and have still not succeeded. Did not have a direct telephone number or an extension and after an abrupt, unhelpful conversation with the switchboard operator was transferred to a voice mail answering machine. Called back again and was transferred to main reception at Hertford Hospital who then tried to transfer me back again to Switchboard without success and told to redial again Have now left 2 voice mail messages I hope to the correct person and hoping I shall get a call back. Anybody else had the same experience?
