"Sparkling Clean with Wonderful Staff"

I had to have a pretty unpleasant Dental Op on Friday 27th June. I chose West Cornwall because I had visited before and saw how clean and well run it was. I was admitted to the surgical ward as a day case and right from the start was impressed with the caring, upbeat staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. I cannot thank them all enough for getting me through a very difficult day in my life. My anaesthetist was terrific, My surgeon spent ages talking through my options with me and thanks also go to the poor soul who woke me up in recovery as I insisted on holding their hand. We need to 'decentralise' our health services. Not everyone wants to trek to Truro. I felt safe and well cared for at the The West Cornwall, I felt as though I was a person and not just a number.I wish we could go back to having our local hospital serve all our needs. Big hospitals do not work. Thanks to all of the hard working staff at The West Cornwall, especially a nurse, I won't forget your kindness.
