"referral for cataracts operation"

About: North Middlesex Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was referred to North Middlesex Hospital fot cataracts operation and when I contact them to ask about my appointment time scale I was told Im not even on the system, so I chased the patient group who referred me and they confirmed the fax was sent and received at the end of May 2014.

Its been over 1 month now and I'm still trying to find out if North Middlesex Hospital have my details on the waiting list, but am just getting a ringing tone, I contacted the same dept using another number and was told to contact the same number I have been trying constantly, when I explained I was not getting through and have been trying for so long, I was told there was nothing they can do but to keep trying! How ridiculous is that! My eye is getting worse as I cannot see from one eye, but yet I have been told by my Hospital to just keep calling a number which noone seems to answer, as a tax payer I think the service from North Middlesex Hospital has always been rubbish, no one ever answers the phone, the staff are rude and don't care, the only good few are less and cannot help everyone. Wake up bosses and solve your customer service issues or hire people to just answer the phones, so at least we can get some answer!
