Good heathcare staff.
What could be improved
The Choose and Book system is dysfunctional, Neurosurgery does not put up appointments. So There is no choice, and no booking.
My urgent referal letter got bounced from Hospital to Choose and Book.
The call centre is hopeless, you cannot get through. ! waited 17 mins and gave up. Similar experiences on numerous other occasions.
The complaints bit of the website does not allow you to send any feedback. Is it there for decoration?
The PALs people did not bother contacting me after an initial conversation.
I finally got an appointment, over 2 months after the urgent referral, but not with the consultant the GP wrote to and on a date that I can't make.
I only found out about this appointment by finally speaking to to a service manager, otherwise I would not have known about it as the hospital had not sent me a letter.
The hospital may be safe, it may be clean, but personal it is not.
Perhaps the board members and CEO will have ago calling the call centre or trying to complin via the website. They mean find it an educational experience.
I guess I will have to beg family and friends and go private.
Anything else?
