"on gyny ward by mistake, asked for 3 hours for a..."

About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

I was put on cornflour b ward although I didn't have a gyny problem - it was the only place in the poorly run hospital with a bed after I'd been sat in a waiting room 4 hours waiting for a bed. I got on the ward around 7pm and after asking a number of times I finally got a jug of water around 10pm. It was way too hot, no one could sleep and the heat was making us feel worse. The nurse call buttons from others were constantly going off and nurses were taking sometimes half hour to see what the patient wanted. I was pointlessly kept in for tests and results, and pumped with drugs for 2 nights but I left feeling much more ill than when I went in. None of the staff knew what the others was saying or doing, no communication there at all and if you asked the staff what was going on none of them knew. The hospital needs someone to manage the staff, and someone to actually talk to the patients. There were 3 people on the ward at the same time as me all disgusted and all asking to self discharge but then had to wait for the meds before we could go, 1 lady sat waiting to go from 9am till 2pm just waiting for a piece of paper, there were a couple of nice nurses but also some very obrupt ones (if you're not a people person don't become a nurse)...complete joke , I'm praying that I never have to stay in that hospital again as this was the 2nd time and both times were as bad
