"Getting up and out at the Hospice"

About: John Eastwood Hospice (inpatient)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Long term conditions hospice (Wednesdays):

Before coming, I used to stay in bed or sit on the sofa with the curtains closed and didn't really want to go anywhere or do anything. It has given me something to look forward to and get up for. It has improved my confidence and I want to get up and out now. I don't feel as low as I did and have met some lovely people.

Thankyou for your feedback, it is very much appreciated and I will share it with the hospice team, volunteers and community matrons who all help to make Wednesday happen.

I am so pleased that you have got so much out of attending and are finding such positive benefits.

Thank you Emma
