I was admitted to A & E in the early hours of Thursday morning. It was cool outside and cool inside. The care I receive was extremely good but my complaint is that there were no blankets for warmth. I was in a hospital gown,open at the back, and a sheet to cover me. I was like this for 4 hours before being moved to a ward. I had to travel through the glass corridor to the ward covered only in a sheet at 7am when it was still relatively cold. I think this is disgusting! Why werent there any blankets in A & E. In fairness to the the acute ward they did give me two blankets to warm through once I was on the ward. I cant fault the actual care in A & E and on the ward, the staff were brilliant.
