"Excellent treatment recently in colonoscopy unit"

The whole experience was very positive. The process was well-organised with a minimum of waiting time. The team worked well together and appeared focused on my needs at all times. I was given sufficient opportunity to learn about the procedure, to have my questions answered and to give informed consent after being told about the risks. During the procedure itself the endoscopist answered my questions and explained what he was doing and seeing. The nurses took pains to ensure I was comfortable at all stages. I was given a copy of the written report immediately afterwards with oral explanations. Everyone involved in the examination showed great professionalism and the care provided was friendly as well as efficient. The NHS at its best!
