"I could not fault any area of care"

About: Alexandra Hospital / Clinical haematology

(as the patient),

I have not lived in Redditch for long and have not required hospital treatment for 37 years. However, I found I needed the assistance of the Alex Hospital in Redditch over a period of 8 weeks.

I had x-rays, a scan, other procedures and several blood tests to ascertain my problem. During this period I found the service and attention I received in all the departments exceptional.

I could not fault any area of the treatment I received and I am delighted to post this personal experience as there is so much negative press regarding the NHS. My sincere thanks to all the people involved starting with my local GP.
