We visited the A and E department twice within the same week with our three year old son. Unfortunately on both occasions I witnessed nurses being rudely spoken to/ shouted at by other patients. The nurses acted with complete professionalism and dealt with both situations very well. When taken through to the pediatric A and E department, we were seen very quickly. I felt the level of care for my son was exceptional. He was monitored carefully, spoken to with kindness and all his symptoms carefully investigated. I could not have asked for any better care for my son. Thank you to all the staff in the paediatrics A and E. I hope they know that they are very appreciated and respected by the majority as I know I certainly couldn't do the job they do and it's so wrong that they have to deal with abuse from patients when they are trying their best to help people.
