"visit to minor injuries unit"

About: Newton Abbot Hospital

The waiting area is ' soul less' but compensated by the cafe area very close to hand, and was able to enjoy a lite bite and pot o tea whilst waiting to be called. This was a wait of one and half hour wait ,which was reasonable. However no complaint of the treatment given but it was obvious that it was 'rushed' ,as it turned out was to meet government waiting time targets and felt like it.

Thank you for taking the time to send us details of your experience at the Minor Injuries Unit at Newton Abbot. Your feedback has been shared with the Assistant Director of Community Hospitals, the Senior Manager of Minor Injuries Services and the staff at the unit.

Ensuring that you receive care and treatment of a high standard is very important to us and whilst I note you have no complaints about the treatment I am sorry that you feel it was rushed.
