I recently left a review with you thanking the staff for their care and support we were given when my husband became ill while visiting our daughter and son-in-law.Eight weeks later we have now been told by our GP that my husband has lymphoma. He is now been treated at our nearest hospital. We were very happy with the care we received at your hospital but I do remember asking a doctor when my husband was discharged, don't you need to scan him to make sure everything's OK and does he not need any medication to take with him, only to be told the doctors have done this type of operation many times and would know if something was wrong. We are very happy with how my husband was looked after, but wish your hospital would have made a follow up appointment with our nearest hospital to make sure everything's OK. Instead we have been left thinking my husband was recovering and on a visit to our GP was told the partial bowel that was removed was showing lymphoma. Just very dissapointed with the follow up procedure.
