"Perfect care for my son"

On the night of the 4th July, my 5 year old son experienced a seizure whilst at home. It was the most frightening experience of my life, but by the swift arrival of the paramedics I was immediately put at ease and reassured by their competence and professionalism. On arrival to A and E it was a busy Friday night but we were quickly seen and assessed by a doctor and transferred to ward 17. The care we received on this ward was fantastic. We were admitted by a nurse who explained everything to us and made us comfortable. She performed regular observations throughout the night attending to our every need. The paediatric registrar clerked us in, explaining everything and then discharged us in the morning after another thorough examination. The care we received was perfection and everyone that we met made our son feel very safe and special. A massive thank you to everyone involved.
