"F ward, cataract removal"

About: Ormskirk & District General Hospital

I cannot thank the nursing staff and the surgeon for a painless and fantastic job carried out to remove my cataract. I was told everything from the nursing staff what would be happening and who I will see. I cannot fault them at all. My only concern was that a lady on the desk on F ward, was quite rude to me when I asked if I would receive drops for my eye before going home, she asked If I had been discharged? I answered no and then met with a very rude answer of ' well you wont get anything till you are discharged' In a manner that was not called for, also the same person was very rude to an elderly gentleman in the waiting room who had trouble walking, this lady pulled faces behind this gentleman's back which was not called for.
