About: The Royal Liverpool University Hospital

Had to take my wife to the Royal , with severe tummy pains, got there at 10pm and was seen by a doctor at 5am....this was the 3rd time she had been with the same problem...both times before she had been sent home with painkillers....10 min after we came in a nurse took the wifes temp and blood presure......since been told this is the norm to meet targets...ie it looks like you have been seen after 10 mins.....it was a good job that i was with her as i was able to get her water....felt sorry for the people left on trollys who could not help themselves ...now this was not a weekend but a Weds....got admitted at 6am and told she would have a gallbladder op that day, also told nil by mouth due to op........At 7pm that night she was told that the op had been cancelled until the next morning. Would i go here again...i dont think so.
