Just had bunion operation. Was admitted to John Ray Ward at 7 am and to my delight and surprise was in theatre by 9.30. I can honestly say that the care and friendliness I encountered from everyone, the nurses, anaesthetists, surgeon, porters + all were second to none. Had very interesting chat with the student nurse. This kind of surgery is painful + am certainly feeling that now at home but that's to be expected. The NHS is fantastic + we should all be proud to have such an institution and not let it get marginalised. Thank you to all for looking after me.
"Thank you John Ray Ward"
