I came to this hospital with my younger sister who hurt her arm very badly when she fell off her bike. The nurse that saw her was so rude and very sarcastic not only towards me, but my sister too. When this nurse was making the assessment, the nurse did not care that my sister was in so much pain. I had already given my sister paracetamol before we got to the hospital, but she was still in pain when we got to the hospital. The nurse did not even bother giving her any other pain killer before going to x-ray, or even when we got back to x-ray. I had to ask the nurse for my sister to have pain killers, but the nurse still did not want to give any as the nurse wanted to paracetamol that I gave to my sister work. When the doctor called us, the doctor saw that my sister was in agony and asked the nurse why my sister wasn't given any medicine, and the nurse said that my sister didn't want any, which is an absolute lie! The doctor obviously knew that the nurse was lying and asked the nurse to get ibuprofen for my sister, and apologised for the nurse which the doctor should not have done. The doctor explained her x-ray and everything that was going on, and said that my sister had a small fracture and that they would put her arm in a plaster, and be referred to the fracture clinic where they would put a proper cast on her arm. I am very disgusted about the behaviour of this nurse and how unprofessional their actions were. The only thing I don't get is other people's review here, and how they can praise this hospital. Unless the people giving this hospital 5 stars and a glowing review must be the staff themselves. Very unacceptable service and behaviour. Never again am I coming to this hospital. Unless there is improvement in this hospital, not that there will be, this hospital will drive itself to the ground.
"Unacceptable"
