Elderly patient admitted to Mary Ray ward from A&E - no signs for named staff, name badges not visible, no doctors to speak to patient's family despite numerous requests, woefully understaffed and an overuse of student nurses, poor attitude of staff toward family members and visitors. Needs urgent attention.
Improvements would be nurse training in dementia, diabetic diet, transfers.
