What I liked

I have been a in patient at lincoln Hospital many times for various problems, including several operations over the past 18 years!I have to commend the nursing care I have always been given, Excellent each time.The nurses are so dedicated and hard working.You go to sl;eep and you wake up to see the same nurse still on duty.Health politician ought to spend a few nights in a hospital bed,and see for themselves the wonderfull work these nurses do .

What could be improved

The one and only comment I have always made after a visit to hospital,to whom I always write to thank or criticise on each of my visits.It is always the administration that fouls up from time to time.Kept waiting unnecessaraly,repeat questions and duplicating forms.No coordination between bookings and transport.So that ambulance arrives at ones home,when the appoitnment has been cancelled.That has happenned three times to me this year!Embarrassing situation and waste of manpower.Occasions when an appoitment has been delayed on site, and suddenly the receptionist goes home, and you are left in the waiting area not knowing what is going on.Sometimes I have gone throuigh the complaint procedure,but after a lenght of time, one gets an apology,but no assurance that methods have changed?These problems are particularly stressfull when you are 84 years of age and some part of you is not functionning as well as one would like.I do know you are overworked in some areas,but I do feel that sometimes patient feed back is not listenned too at times.
