"Worst mental health unit around"

Just been told by my step daughter who was a patient on Fern ward that she has been discharged with a minutes warning . She has been in there just over a week and is classed as a significant harm to herself . Her care was being administered by a doctor who then left in her car and we assume went home . I immediately rang the ward and the staff made out they could not hear me even when I shouted , then when a person who understood me came to the phone she suddenly had to go to a emergency then when I rang back was not available . I have been disgusted by mental health wards before but Kent you take the biscuit .
