"The pre-op treatment was efficient ..."

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus

(as the patient),

What I liked

The pre-op treatment was efficient and pleasant; post-op likewise.

What could be improved

I had to wait 19 weeks for a consultant appointment, and found it impossible to get an accurate idea of how long I would have to wait for the consultation. I would have valued some contact to confirm progress in the meantime, and to get reassurance of my existence in the system.

Anything else?

On the day of the operation I had to arrive at 07.30 and waited until mid-day before going to theatre. I understood I was 2nd in the queue, which was hard to comprehend, and eventually had to stay overnight. The waiting seemed endless and unnecessary with better pre-planning.

(receive is spelt wrongly!)
