84 year old lady who tore a knee ligament whilst on holiday in the Lake District, was sent to Shire Hill on her return as she couldn’t manage in her home alone. Received extremely good care from physios, who made sure she was mobile before discharging her. At home had a bath aid fitted, and a key system on her front door.
She has made a very good recovery and is now fully active and able to drive, which is extremely important to her, as it gives her independence.
"Excellent care following torn knee ligament"
