"Pleasantly surprised"

Had an overnight stay after brachytherapy and I was very pleasantly surprised with Sandbanks Ward. The staff were very attentive and had just the right balance of cheerfulness and seriousness. The cleanness of the rooms was impressive -the cleaner was very particular and careful. Had 3 meals there and they were very acceptable in fact more than that they were delicious. As for the treatment I was really impressed with the efforts to explain everything and make sure that I was making a fully informed decision fully advised of both advantages and disadvantages of the treatment. My consultant was brilliant and I left fully confident of what would happen next and what to expect in terms of follow-up and after care. Well Done Poole Hospital - You were there when I needed you. Thank you.
