"Not worthy of a MIU"

About: Gravesham Community Hospital

Took my son to be seen for a possie fracture of his left foot.Website says anyone over 12months with minor ailments inc fractures can be seen.Rang before hand and told can attend and even upon booking the reception did not say under 5's do not get X-rays.Waitrd 2hrs and turned away without X-ray .Nurse discharged home to see if settles despite child not fully weight bearing and with boney tenderness and positive Ottawa ankle bruise.i am a nurse and extremely upset that there can not be someone doing initial triage to even see if patients need pain killers or redirected to appropriate place.1 lady brought in by ambulance was seen first despite her walking. When I arrive there were 5 people in front of my son yet it took 2 hours for my son to be seen how is it justified.i suggest you change your website information so that it's not misleading.
