What I liked
I was a patient in the Oulton Day Care Unit. My appointments and booking went without a hitch and the documentation I received was clear and informative. Though the unit was clearly very busy, staff remained calm and reassuring throughout. The ward was fresh and clean and all the staff were helpful and caring. When I got back from theatre a fresh bed was made up for me and I relaxed and slept soundly. Overall a really good patient experience - thank you everyone.
What could be improved
The trolley bed I was allocated was quite comfortable at first but after 4 hours my back was very stiff and numb. Please consider those of us who are getting older and need a bit more padding!
