"My 2 year old son had to go in ..."

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital

(as a relative),

What I liked

My 2 year old son had to go in for a general anaesthetic and stitches near his mouth. I was so scared for him but the nurses and doctors in A & E, Plastics and Ward F2 were amazing. They were so good with him he was not scared or traumatized at all by anything and came out not bothered at all about his face and has never mentioned it or touched it. It is such a neat job too that there will be a minimal scar, if at all. So I am extremely grateful to all those involved who made the whole experience for mum so much easier to cope with!

What could be improved

Nothing, everything was so well done.

Thank you for your kind comments. We are pleased that the staff in the Emergency Department and Paediatrics were able to offer such good care. The Plastics team will be pleased to hear that your son's scar is minimal and we will share your generous comments with them.
