"Parking costs"

I had to pick someone up from the hospital yesterday and it cost £2, not the £1.70 mentioned on the website. Making money from volunteers isn't a great way of inducing warm feelings about a place - what about a short stay area where you can go to a department to locate someone and bring them to the car??
