"lack of treatment and communication from NHS Tayside"

About: NHS Tayside

(as the patient),

It is 15 months past since initial diagnosis by my GP and have been seen at hospital yet no further forward with regards to appropriate medication or even some form of treatment.

I dread even to think that if I was seriously ill what would I get treatment wise? I do not have any confidence in the NHS now, let alone my surgery which I feel is just as bad.

It's shocking having to endure pain, sleep deprivation, numb legs and feet, massive sweating and I am so uncertain about my illness yet no one is helping.

I wont divulge information as to what department is involved or my own surgery this time, I am very angry and really disappointed in how I am not being treated.

That is lack of treatment and lack of communication and is a disgrace.

Dear Mr Leo 59,

thank you for getting in touch through Patient Opinion. Your post leaves me concerned about your current care and your feeling that no one is helping when you remain so uncertain about your illness, I recognise that uncertainty can be incredibly difficult to deal with.

I would welcome the opportunity to understand the issues that you are experiencing to allow us to ensure that you receive appropriate treatment and communication. If you would find this helpful I can be contacted at feedback.tayside@nhs.net

Kind regards

Caroline McQuillian Associate Nurse Director
