I wrote in 2 weeks ago about my experience with the outpatient physio service at Northern General Hospital.

Today was the re-arranged appointment to start my rehab after major foot surgery.I got ready for 8am as instructed by the reception staff, to wait for the ambulance to take me for my appointment. It hadn't arrived by 9.45 so I phoned the department for advice. I was told they had no record of me having an appointment that day, despite me having an appointment card with the details on.

I insisted on being seen today, so they sent a taxi for me and I did get a proper session with a physio who (this time) knew about my condition. The stress I feel is considerable and I can do without it. No one apologised for the error.
