My French partner went to A & E at 11 00pm on a Thursday, fortunately it was not to busy. She was in very bad chest pain, she was treated very quickly and found to have one lung full of liquid on the side where she had a mastectomy 8 months before . She was treated with great care and courtesy at all times and her lung was drained the next morning. Unfortunately on Saturday the problem reoccurred and we had to return in the evening, again despite the fact it was Saturday evening and very busy she was again treated very quickly and after anyother night in hospital, we retuned to France where my partner had an operation to clear up the problem, hopefully permanently. We are both very pleased with the treatment by all doctors and staff who were kindness itself all the time. The only slight grievance was nothing really to do with the ward but some of the other patients, who were shouting and generally making a lot of noise.
