"MRI scan."

About: Medway Maritime Hospital

This was my second MRI scan of my pituiatory tumour, the first was November 2013.On that occasion, the MRI staff were all excellent, but unfortunately I did not get any names. My second scan was 27.6.14 at 8.30am. I was really nervous and had been up most of the previous night due to stress and anxiety knowing what I was going to go through.I hate the experience.Mentioned to the nurse how I felt and I cannot thank her enough.Made it more bearable for me,she was very kind and empathetic, talked through every stage of the process including being inside the machine with my face bolted down and letting me know what they were doing and how much longer to go. (Nice touch) The nuse was brill, cannot thank her enough, also thanks to another member of staff, who showed the same compassion and understanding when I had to come out half way for a contrast..Two great NHS staff. Thanks again.
