(as a relative),

My late mother was in Kings D1 for nine weeks, they treated her like a queen. All of the staff were absolutely fantastic, even the HCAs were brilliant.

Kings D1 is a happy ward, you can always have a laugh and a joke with the staff, even the then Ward Manager "Steady" Eddie was a very jovial guy and a fantastic nurse, very professional at all times, but you could have a laugh and a joke.
