I cut myself having fallen down the stairs – my neighbour called the 999 service because of the injury I had. The ambulance arrived while my neighbour was still on the phone. The paramedics cleaned up the wound, put iodine on it, plaster strips and a bandage with some padding to protect it and left when they were sure I was OK. They left papers for me and said they would call my GP to them him know what had happened.
It was a very quick service; I was dealt with very well.
