"It was a very quick service; I was dealt with very well"

About: South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I cut myself having fallen down the stairs – my neighbour called the 999 service because of the injury I had. The ambulance arrived while my neighbour was still on the phone. The paramedics cleaned up the wound, put iodine on it, plaster strips and a bandage with some padding to protect it and left when they were sure I was OK. They left papers for me and said they would call my GP to them him know what had happened.

It was a very quick service; I was dealt with very well.

Dear Darker517

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I hope you are recovering well.

It is always rewarding to hear that our staff are continuing to provide excellent care to our patients when they need us most.

I would like to pass your kind comments onto the crew who came to your aid. Would you be able to contact me, laura.martin@swast.nhs.uk or call 01392 453831, at your convenience, with the date and address that the ambulance attended? This would allow me to identify the staff who came to you.

Thank you again for providing feedback on our service.

Kind regards

Laura
