"Good service but sometimes a long wait"

About: Dewsbury Health Centre / Podiatry

(as a relative),

My husband, who is diabetic, has been having treatment at the podiatry clinic for a few years now. He is quite happy with the service he gets, they are very good and very kind. The only criticism is that they always tell him to ring again after 8 weeks for the next appointment, they never have free slots immediately available and he generally has to wait another two weeks before he is seen – this a total of 10 weeks by which time is feet are in agony.

It is good to hear that you and your husband are very happy with the treatment you receive from the Podiatrists.

Patients should be advised that they need to contact the department 4 weeks before they need their appointment.

However we are currently looking at how people make appointments, including using patient feedback, and are keen to improve the patient experience.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.
