Went to A & E with a 45% pneumothorax (which I didn't know) and was told on arrival by ambulance to wait for 7 hours in the waiting room. This was after them having seen the x-ray confirming diagnosis. Wasn't told what was wrong with me so I went home thinking it can't be that serious (asthma perhaps) and as it was 4am, I couldn't stay awake. Phoned the next day to ask what the x-ray showed and they said I needed to go in urgently, when I got there they told me it was a pneumothorax and I was treated shortly after. Many more problems after that, but Queens A & E is a place I would avoid like the plague if at all possible. Rude staff who showed no respect during a serious and very distressing time.
"Lack of respect, dangerous, rude and common staff"
