"Good experience on elective orthopaedic ward "

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford) / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a relative),

My mum has just undergone a total knee replacement in the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford. She was nursed on Kings C2 by a team of very caring compassionate nurses.

I visited daily and can only praise the ward for the care given to both my mum and other patients within the bay. They were always on hand to help and nothing was too much trouble.

After much anxiety about having the knee replacement my mum was made to feel at ease and had a good hospital experience which is great as she will be having the other knee replaced in 6 months time.

Working within the Trust it was a pleasure observing staff working to values and behaviours that are of a high standard,

Thank you so much for your encouraging feedback. As you say, great to see our values into action. Staff work really hard to provide a great service. Glad we were able to care for your mum well, hope she feels less anxious about next time.
