(as the patient),

I recently had a hip replacement at the Norfolk & Norwich University Hospital.

My apprehension was quickly eliminated after the two pre-surgical assessments, with a senior nurse, and then members of the OT and Physiotherapy Depts. I so appreciated the Norwich Enhanced Recovery Programme (NERP), which meant that my 4 day stay gave me the confidence to manage alone at home. 4 weeks after surgery, I am coping so well, and increasing my walking day by day - thank you

Thank you for your best wishes - much appreciated. I wanted to add my heart felt thanks to all the staff concerned from the consultant, Mr Ingham and his surgical team to all the staff on Denton Ward. I have already managed to allay the concerns of two people awaiting orthopaedic surgery in the near future - thank you all again
