"My visit to new Southmead Hospital A & E, Sunday..."

I've got nothing but praise for the excellent way I was treated by the Receptionists, the Triage Nurses, and the Doctors on my visit. I'm fed up with reading about people being unable to park, parking charges,not being able to find their way about, and most of all having to wait.. If someone is seen before you, It's probably because their need is more urgent than yours. This is why there is Triage, so that someone suffering from a Heart Attack doesn't die whilst waiting for somebody to have a boil on their backside seen to. I feel that people have lost sight of how lucky we are to have such a modern up-to date Hospital on our doorstep. It is the treatment that matters, not the difficulty in parking, and so what if you have to wait an hour or two. Is your time more important than your health? It is a new Hospital, not yet fully up and running, as strange to those who work there, as it is to all of us. I expect that all will settle down, given time, meanwhile be thankful for what we've got and for the dedicated staff who are doing their best for all of us. To them, I say `Well done', don't let the moaners get you down, P. Collins.
