"Rude Nurse"

My son has Leukaemia, we both sleep in the same room and we didn't have the best of nights. Early in the morning one of his machines was beeping, so I pressed the 'call' button to alert the nurses as my boy was sound asleep. A nursing assistant came in and turned off the machine. A moment later once she had left the room the machines were beeping and flashing again so I called the nurse. The nursing assistant comes in, turns the beeping off and said the nurse would be in shortly. A minute later the machines are beeping once again while my boy is trying to sleep, the nursing assistant comes charging in and really seemed to speak down to me saying, 'Like I said the nurse will be in in a few moments, she will be in soon' in a really abrupt voice and left the machine beeping. I have never been so humiliated and feel angry with the lack of compassion and care for children. People like that should not be in a job where care is the most important thing. I am disgusted thinking of taking the matter higher as I don't want anyone else spoken to like that.
