I am glad I can share my opinion about my first child birth experience-it was very bad, starting right from the pre natal care wherein my induction failed right through the post natal care where no one cared for me to such an extent that I asked my husband to buy aptamil from sainsbury as my baby was hungry and I was unable to breastfeed. It all happened in October 2012, sometime ago but that bad experience is still haunting me and it brings tears to my eyes as to how I was treated- stripped of dignity,no respect and bitter disappointment of how the medical staff could fail me with simple support care. Only when I asked the staff to warm up aptamil did they tell me that they could actually give me aptamil for free, I just needed to ask, but I could not think straight at the time as I had not slept by that time for nearly 4 days,3 days in pre natal ward where my I pod was stolen and my induction failed, then the emergency c section and very traumatic and painful recovery with a crying baby dumped on me and what I called a padding ton station when more than 3 visitors visited my maternity ward neighbors and were so loud... Also during the c section the doctor asked me why I was sent out to them so early for induction being just 41 weeks, obviously I had no idea why, no one ever explained to me anything... The trauma was so bad that the whole 2013 year I had to go to a&e with acute heart pain and fainting, after my 3rd visits it was identified that I was suffering from post natal anxiety and had to undergo a talking therapy sessions to get me out of that state of re occurring memories of that maternity ward, until now I have no idea why I was so badly treated. I do want to investigate my case and I will appreciate any help u may give me. Obviously I can never recommend maternity ward at wexham hospital for being such a poor quality, hopefully something may have changed for the better by now. Maybe I was just unlucky with my nurse shifts, the only positive moment I can recall was the anaesthesiologist who held my hand during the operation and kept saying that all would be all right, the only ray of sunshine in my 6 day ordeal...
