I had the misfortune of being sent to this hospital a couple of weeks ago and as I have not been in hospital for over 14 years I did not know what to expect. I was taken up to a ward after visiting Rochdale A&E at 11am I had collapsed and had chest pains, I was put in a bed then a nurse came along she was very nice but was very annoyed that she was doing all the work and shouted for some help on the ward as she was doing everything which made me feel very worried as to how I was going to be treated if there is no staff. I was made comfortable and after bloods and blood pressure done I was then left until 2.30am before I was sean by a doctor I was still awake as the england game was on and everyone at the nurses station was talking rather loud and and would not shut up. I am a very easy going person and I have every respect for nurses but this was testing my patience. I asked for two paracetamol for the headache they were causing me and it was 2 hours later when I reminded the nurse I had asked for them. I hope I never have to go here again I couldn't wait to be discharged
"a bad hospital"
