"Kind,caring,highly efficient service...just what..."

My husband and I are extremely grateful for the amazing service we received whilst I was an outpatient at the Early Pregnancy Unit and an in-patient on B5 at Russells Hall. I was admitted on a Friday after being supported by the caring staff in EPAC as an outpatient, I had emergency surgery on the day I was admitted and was discharged home safely, back with my husband the morning after. This surgery was very upseting for us and home is where I needed to be following my treatment. I was seen by the Anaesthetist and Consultant prior to my surgery who answered all the questions we had. I was monitored by caring staff following my surgery and I saw my Consultant the following morning who explained my surgery and what I should expect during my recovery. All levels of staff I had contact with reassured me (including the gentleman who was part of the theatre staff who came to collect me and the lady from theatres whose hand I wouldn't let go when she was returning me to the ward!) I don't have names of each staff member...all I know is everyone who contributed to my care had a massive impact on our experience! Thank you very much!
