"Mixed experience at Queen's Medical Centre"

The care from the paramedics in the ambulance was excellent. They were caring and efficient with me. However, the treatment in A&E was quite the opposite. I found most of the staff very brusque and uncommunicative but they were efficient. On being transferred to the city hospital the staff were very friendly and went to great lengths to put me at ease. They were very also efficient and helpful. The only downside was that the pharmacy took two hours to dispense my medication to bring home. So I just had to sit and wait as I had been discharged and was so exhausted. I just wanted to get home.
