"Orthopaedic department treated me well"

After my referral to ICATS I received my first appointment within a week. Lever Chambers is much more convenient than having to go to the hospital. I was assessed quickly and was not kept waiting at any stage. All staff were very helpful and polite. Everything was very clearly explained and any questions answered well. The podiatrist made insoles to help correct my problem on my first visit and saw me again a month later to see if there was any improvement. As this did not work he immediately referred me to the next stage and arranged an appointment with an orthopedic practitioner. Again I got an assessment without delay and was treated with care and respect and everything was explained extremely well. I was told that I would have a scan before Christmas and indeed I did on 24/12/08! Again the scan was extremely convenient and avoided delays and problems with parking at the hospital. Communication between departments is excellent and I already have a copy of a letter sent by the Orthopaedic practitioner to the podiatrist and my GP. I have no complaints as I felt everything was being done to help my problem.
