"avoid ward 9"

I was admitted to ward 9 and was lucky enough to get a side room. Ward 9 is the respritary unit. Getting medication is very difficult. I had really painful indigestion and 2 hours after asking for gaviston I had managed to burp a bit and get some milk. I cannot breathe without my medication and it takes a new hour to kick in. This morning I woke to no water and could not take tablets. Eventually some came but as it is a very hot day it was empty by lunch, and it has just been refilled, 8 hours later , I asked for ventolin early this afternoon and am still waiting . Apparently I need to be out of breathe and incontinent - problem is I have no pads left so I had to ask for some they are much too small but what else canI do ? I was told at 11.00 this morning that the cannula will be taken out the back of hand today - still waiting a d it's 9.30pm. Yesterday the last hot drink was saved at 5.30 today it was at 3.00 when I moaned a stroppy woman asked why i had 2 empty cups - coz they have neen sitting there all afternoon! I am really happy to be going home tomorrow where tap water and my medication are available a d where the kettle works!!
