About: Queen Alexandra Hospital

Had an chest emergency and had to attend QA Cardiology on a saturday at very short notice. The staff we're very professional and all the right things happened in the right order and at the right time :) The aftercare was first class and my wife & family were treated with respect in a very difficult situation for them. had to go back to A&E a few times and same high level of professionalism was evident there - particularly from the on duty military-trained staff. Sadly a single NHS nurse took the view that as i was not in a bed bay they managed, the nurse wouldn't really talk to us.
