"Sigmoidosopy - nothing to be frightened of"

I had a sigmoidoscopy at Bassetlaw Hospital Worksop, I didnt have sedation and found the procedure better than I thought it would be. It was a little uncomfortable but the staff were excellent. The worst part of it was the preparation the day before,(having to take the kleen prep) but thankfully everything was ok. I would like to say if you are going to have this done there is nothing to be frightened of and it is not painful!!
