"Routinely long delays and poor communication"

About: Sutton Hospital

We have been coming to Sutton Children's eye hospital for about 10 years now and we routinely have to wait over 2 hours to get through. Delays, poor management and woeful communications. The staff we see are fine but the patient's experience seems at the bottom of anyone's concerns. Long delays for assessments and then longer delays to be seen - and parking charges always mounting. Our son's needs mean we have many varying appointments in hospitals yet our experience of delays and poor customer experience at Sutton Eye Hospital is guaranteed to be at the bottom. Patient's expectations are rising as they should. I have yet to see any concerted management attempt to review the experience from a service user perspective. We are due to return in 6 months. The challenge I lay down is will any one bother to improve this before the unit is moved? I will post another feedback to let you know.
